Logility Named SAP® Business One Partner to Provide Supply Chain Solutions for Small and Midsize Businesses
Logility’s Demand Solutions® application suite to drive supply chain improvements through integration with SAP® Business One
Atlanta (January 23, 2006) – Logility, Inc. (NASDAQ: LGTY), a leading supplier of collaborative solutions to optimize the supply chain, today announced that it has been named a SAP® Business One Partner to provide supply chain solutions for the small and midsize business market in the United States.
Logility will integrate its Demand Solutions application suite with SAP Business One to drive supply chain improvements for small and midsize businesses (SMB). Demand Solutions will extend the core business automation capabilities of SAP Business One and provide critical supply chain expertise to help customers predict future demand and make informed decisions to optimize inventory turns, customer service levels and profitability.
Demand Solutions provides a complete time-phased, multi-tiered planning and replenishment system for monthly, weekly, or daily planning cycles, and offers a proven platform for Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI). Demand Solutions was specifically designed for small and midsize businesses and helps manufacturers, wholesalers and distributors exchange information for inventory, proactively manage demand rather than operate in reactive mode, and increase profitability. Demand Solutions will be tightly integrated with SAP’s core business automation capabilities to accelerate implementation, ensure ease of use and offer a lower total cost of ownership.
“Small and midsized businesses need easy access to critical supply chain information to improve demand visibility, lower inventory investments and improve customer service,” said Mike Edenfield, president and CEO of Logility. “Demand Solutions will extend the SAP Business One solution and will provide a robust supply chain solution specifically designed to meet the needs of small and midsize businesses.”
The SAP Business One Solution Partner Program certifies new solutions for support and integration into SAP Business One to make it easier for channel partners to sell, implement and support the flexible business management platform.
