American Software Meets Listing Requirements of the NASDAQ Global Select Market
ATLANTA (June 26, 2005) – American Software, Inc. (NASDAQ: AMSWA) announced today that NASDAQ Listing Qualifications has determined that the Company has met the initial listing requirements of the NASDAQ Global Select Market.
The NASDAQ National Market will be renamed the NASDAQ Global Market on July 1, 2006. In conjunction NASDAQ will create the NASDAQ Global Select Market, a segment of the NASDAQ Global Market with higher initial listing standards. The Company’s securities will be included in this new market.
