Design, automate, monitor, and streamline business processes in real time.

Leverage our Web-based, event-driven system to let your project teams share information and manage processes across departments and partners with better visibility and accountability for everyone. Bring new levels of productivity to any business flow, from simple departmental-level processes on up to enterprise processes that cross software, department and even company boundaries. Workflow automates repetitive processes and speeds their completion. Our Process Management solution eliminates delays and hassles by automating business procedures (work flows) during which documents, information and tasks are passed from one participant to another in a way that is governed by rules or procedures. For each process, a pre-defined process template will define the events, participants, and time-frames.

View your Process Rules via HTML Graphical Process Flow.

Event Notification Service (ENS)

The system will send e-mail notifications to the event participants based upon a set of pre-defined event rules. Event owners will be directed to an “Event Response” web page to take appropriate action such as acknowledge or approve the event. Action taken on an event, can trigger subsquent events to be initiated. A complete history of events and actions taken are maintained on the server providing an easy-to-use audit trail.

Reminders or alert e-mails are sent to the event owner based upon a delinquency time interval for the event defined in the Process Rules. This delinquency time interval is adjustable within the system to allow for tightening the process as improvements are made. Escalation e-mails for very late events are sent to escalation defined people such as managers.

How Much Time Does Your Company Spend “Getting Everyone on the Same Page?”

Using Event-Driven Architecture and e-mail for event Notification (only), we propose getting team members on the same (web) page to view status, history, and documents associated with the business process. In order to achieve enterprise agility, you not only need the ability to connect to disparate information sources and to automate and coordinate enterprise business processes, you also need to monitor and streamline them in real-time. An event-driven architecture enables business users to define business processes and gain real-time insight into how their business processes are performing across the enterprise.

Event feeds can be imported

Event feeds can be from external systems such as host ERP feeds. The American Software e-forms can be used to initiate a process based on the creation of a document on the host such as Purchase Orders, customer orders, customer invoices, A/R dunning notices, A/R credit hold notices, out-of-stock notices, products. .

e-Process can also send information and updates to the host such as status updates, approvals, orders, shipments, payments, inventory updates, product updates, etc.

Return on Investment and Business User Benefits

Gartner: Business process management (BPM) is delivering both short-term return on investment (ROI) and long-term value. There is another major factor: compliance. A case in point is the Sarbanes-Oxley legislation that requires that the business processes be certified to produce financial reports as well as certifying the reports themselves.

e-Process aids in achiving Saranes-Oxley compliance though the process of enforcing the documentation of actions associated with your business processes. e-Process can provide approval events that will also support Sarbanes-Oxley. e-Process provides powerful tools for defining and reusing business logic, simplifying business processes, and helping team members (internal and external) coordinate effectively with both the organization and with each other.

e-Process is designed to ease the creation, deployment, modification, and management of business processes no matter how complex with no programming needed whatsoever.

e-Process provides non-technical users with a powerful, easy-to-use means of:

  • Designing sophisticated workflow solutions without programming
  • Deploying solutions without IT assistance except for the back-office integration
  • Monitoring their solutions on an on-going basis
  • Reusing process components
  • Reducing development cost and implementation time
  • Enforcing corporate standards and improving process consistency
  • Shortening process cycle times while enabling better decisions
  • Reducing complexity of integrating people, processes and existing systems
  • Accelerating responsiveness to business or transaction events

Summary

e-Process provides better management and visibility of the event-driven business process. e-Process can be valuable in managing any business process by providing:
