WEB-SHOPS!
The traditional Application Consulting, Catalog Workshops, and Custom Workshops each have their proper place in your initial and on-going requirements to provide users with up-to-date and accurate information about the business use of the features and functions of your ASI business application software. Taking advantage of recent technology, we have added the Web-Shop to our education and training product offerings to make these essential activities easier and more effective for you.
A Web-Shop is a mini-workshop conducted over the Internet. All you have to do is log in to a web site and call a toll-free telephone number. We do the rest from our Education & Training Center in Atlanta. Web-Shop topics are generally very specific and the sessions last from one to four hours, depending on the topic. An American Software Business Consultant or Technical Representative will conduct a PowerPoint presentation and a screen-flow demonstration using generic or company specific data about the feature. Topics are short and very specific in order to fully cover the range of features and to minimize the time required. Users can gather at their own site and look, listen, and ask questions as the Consultant defines the functions and demonstrates the screen and data flows. Later, the users can practice what they learned, perfect their skills, and weave them into your business processes.
Web-Shop topics are basically the feature and function sub-sets of the software. Topics can also be suggested by our clients. Some examples of pertinent topics for Web-Shops would be Serial Number Control, Planner/Buyer functions, Alternate Units of Measure, or the Purchase Order (or Customer Order) Automatic Pricing capabilities. The variety is endless!

The sooner they do that, the sooner they will be able to operate more effectively and efficiently. The payback can be significant!

Scope - All application functions at a fairly high level of detail

ADVANCED WORKSHOP
Location - ASI Education Center or Client site facility
Audience - Smaller groups, users with ASI and industry experience
Scope - Fine tuning functionality, detailed level of investigation and problem solving
Activities - Concepts, Demo, heavy hands-on
Materials - Workshop Manual, Hands-on Exercises, Power Points
WEB-SHOP
Location - Consultant in Atlanta. Attendees at client site facility
Audience - Very small, experienced or in-experienced as appropriate to the topic
Scope - Very limited, well defined, and short ; any module or function within an application
Activities - Concepts and Demo by Consultant. Hands-on by attendees on their own time
Materials - Power Points
CONSULTING

Audience - Very small group or one-on-one
Scope - Varies based on clients desires, covers many topics per visit
Activities - Problem or issue definition, alternate solutions, recommendations, solution determination, business process documentation
Materials - Selected materials from applicable Workshops

Audience - Extremely small group, one-on-one
Scope - Very short scope, often just one question or situation that needs a solution

Web-Shops can be given on any feature/function in the software. We offer Web-shops for virtually all the function codes and all the detailed features in all the applications.
