James C. Edenfield, Executive Chairman and co-founder of the Company and served as CEO for more than 40 years. Prior to starting American Software in 1970, Mr. Edenfield held several executive positions and was a member of the board of directors of Management Science America, Inc. (now Infor Global Solutions). Mr. Edenfield earned a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology.
H. Allan Dow, President, has more than 30 years of experience in strategic planning, sales development and implementation services, and product innovation to streamline, accelerate and optimize supply chain and retail planning enterprises. Mr. Dow joined Logility as Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing in 2000 and was elected President of Logility in 2015. He has been instrumental in shaping the company’s overall strategy development including the transition to delivering a higher mix of SaaS deployments and innovative cloud services. Mr. Dow holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Maine.
Vincent Klinges, Chief Financial Officer, joined the Company in February, 1998 as Vice President of Finance and was promoted to Chief Financial Officer in September 1999. From July 1995 to February 1998, Mr. Klinges was employed by Indus International, Inc. (formerly known as TSW International, Inc.), as Controller. From November 1986 to July 1995, Mr. Klinges held various positions with Dun & Bradstreet, Inc. including Controller of Sales Technologies, a software division of Dun & Bradstreet, Inc. Mr. Klinges holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from St. Bonaventure University.
James R. McGuone is the General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of American Software, Logility, Inc., and their affiliated companies. Prior to joining the Company in 2009, Mr. McGoune was a partner with the national law firm of Holland and Knight LLP and has extensive experience in representing technology companies in a wide variety of matters. Mr. McGoune earned his undergraduate degree from Pennsylvania State University and his law degree from Fordham University School of Law.
Donald L. Thomas, Chief Information Officer, has more than 40 years of experience in development, implementation and support of supply chain solutions and is known for his ability to simplify and resolve technical challenges while positioning customers for success with the Company’s software solutions. Prior to his current role as CIO, Mr. Thomas held several key positions within American Software, including division vice president of manufacturing systems, and then led the Logility customer service team. Mr. Thomas holds a Bachelor of Industrial Engineering degree from Auburn University.
